I tried to make this title as searchable as possible. Reason being when I tried to find the answer for this query all I came up with was car owners pondering and no one solving.
So here it is. It can be done !!!! I was happier than a pig in shit to get this figured out. Of course I didn't solve it on my own . I'm lucky enough to have a mechanically inclined man in my life. If not I was gona have to find a police officer or my daddy to to help me . HAHAHA. just kidding. So as you can see previously I bought '12 Camaro heritage wheels from a dealership for $600 !!! Holy crap , right??? Well upon placing them on the car the center register didn't mesh. So with the guidance of Chris , I found wheel spacers from (shameless plug coming) www.motorcitybolton.com where George assisted me , twice. He's a good guy. So he confirmed with me that our assumption of needing 5 x4.75 @1.5 inches would accommodate the marriage of these wheels to my car. Well it worked. It's awesome. I paid $150 for the spacers , free shipping ... What ...what !?!? So rims, tires and spacers ... $750. Booyah!!! I'm a happy gal. I feel like we've landed on the moon. Being able to say this is possible, maybe other car owners can make this venture. We have lowering springs in the box .. Right now it is very 4x4 esque.
The holidays have kept us busy so hopefully we can get the rest on. But we've gotten the one on for now : ) I will add that we need lug nuts for the Camaro wheels in order to fit the center caps on. But that's kinda cosmetic for now.
